April is looking to be a busy month for us. Last week we did our first video
shoot. It went really well and w'ere prett excited to see the results once
it's all edited and whatnot. Hopefully this will get us some serious YouTube
cred. With any luck we'll be the next Montgomery Flea Market guy. We'll be
sure to post it when it's ready for viewing.
Also, next week we'll be playing some supporting roles in Craig Anton and Ron
Lynch's The Idiots. These guys are awesome and have their names attached to
a lot of great things and we're pretty excited to be working with them. That's
going to be April 11th and 12th at the Lakeshore Theater. It'll definately be
worth checking out.
And finally towards the end of April we'll be embarking on the long and arduous
TEAM SUBMARINE WORLD TOUR. Yes, that's right, World Tour. We'll be trecking
across the globe doing shows in Portsmouth, NH and Amherst, MA. Two dates,
total chaos. If you're in the area, be sure to check them out. More details
TBA. In the meantime, we've got a lot of Chicago shows coming up - check out
the Shows section. Get into it.

We're back from San Francisco - and it was a pretty crazy trip, filled with
In-N-Out Burger, diareah, and Chumbawamba CDs. We even got to do a show
with Dana Carvey somewhere between diareah and Chumbawamba. Huge thanks
go out to the Giroux Family for making our trip much easier and much, much more
comfortable than we could have hoped. We'll be back towards the end of
February debuting some new material around town, so check back soon for dates.
Oh yeah, and we finally go our shit together and got a MySpace page. Yes,
that's right - Team Submarine is the real deal. And it's not just a regular
MySpace page, it's a MySpace COMEDY page. They don't just give those away to
anybody. Enough of this "real webpage" that we "pay for" bullshit. Now we have a
shitty MySpace page that will probably get more hits than this fucking thing that
we slave away at for hours a day. HOURS A DAY!

Happy 2007, America. We started off the new year right with a brand-new show
a the Chicago SketchFest - we had a great time and just wanted to say thanks
to everybody involved: Jeremy Sosenko, Drew Korb, James Asmus, Mel Evans,
Jim Fath, Laura Clark, Zack Landis, Kristin Studdard, Tyler Wolf-Arms, Timmy
Tamisea, and of course, Chewbacca. And my apologies for grossly mis-spelling
some of your names. Also, a big thanks to everybody who came out for the
show. And we can't forget about our good friends Fish Pants.
Next up, we're very excited to announce that we'll be heading to San Francisco
to take part in the San Francisco SketchFest. We've been totally nerding out
over some of the names that are going to be at this festival. Not to mention
that we'll be performing at the same time as the wonderful Mystery Science
Theater 3000. It's always been our dream to lose audience members to MST3K,
and now it's finally happening! If you've got friends in the area, be sure to
tell them to go to the show. Thanks! We've got a new video clip up in the Media
section, and are hoping to put some more stuff up there soon. Lots of things
the works. Keep checking back.
And as always, if you sign-up for our mailing list by sending us and e-mail,
we'll send you a free sticker!

Look at that! A brand-new Team Submarine site. Don't waste your time
exploring, as all of the content is pretty much the same. It just looks
different. But onto some real news...we've been accepted into this year's
Chicago SketchFest and they were kind enough to give us a really great
slot: Saturday at 9:00 PM on January 6. We had a great time last year, and
hope to again this year. More details to come, but for the time being, visit
the SketchFest website for more details. Also, be sure to sign up for our
mailing list by sending and e-mail to teamsubmarine [at] gmail [dot] com.
And our old offer still stands: sign up and get a free sticker! More things
to come.
